Police have arrested Anus Majhi, 19, of Khada Devi Rural Municipality-1, Ramechhap from Lalitpur Metropolitan City-23, Dhapakhel on June 20, 2021, on the charge of raping a 24-year-old woman.
According to the victim, she was raped on June 9 and the complaint was filed on June 10 at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Satdobato.
SP Prajwal Maharjan of the Metropolitan Police Circle said that the accused has been remanded in custody for investigation by the Lalitpur District Court for five days.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Patan Hospital on June 20.
