A complaint was filed against Ranidas Gorkhali, 35, of Siddharthnagar Municipality-3 on June 7, 2021, for raping a 27-year-old woman.
The victim was raped on June 3. According to DSP Satya Narayan Thapa of the District Police Office, a search operation is underway as the accused is absconding.
The victim has been examined at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal on June 7.
