Police have arrested Shiva Kumar Yadav, 21, of Bishnu Rural Municipality-7, Dulawa on June 3, 2021, on the charge of abducting and raping a 19-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Malangwa on June 1, 2021, at District Police Office. According to the victim, the accused had lured her into marrying him and after 23 days had denied marrying her. The accused had escaped after rejecting her.
According to DSP Kundan Kunwar of the District Police Office, Malangwa accused Yadav is kept in custody for interrogation.
The victim has been examined at the District Hospital, Malangwa on May 31, 2021.
