A complaint was lodged against Ramesh Mijar, 32, of Anandnagar in Kohalpur Municipality-2 of Banke District on April 19 for raping a 32-year-old woman.
According to the victim, she was raped on March 30, 2021, by the accused.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the Health Service Office, Salyan on April 19, said Dasharath Shrestha, Chief of the Health Service Office.
The incident is being further investigated and police are searching for the accused, police said.
