Police have arrested Lal Babu Sada (35) of Bhagaha municipality-2, temporarily staying at Lalitpur Metropolitan-14, Tikhidewal on 22 June in accusation of raping a 25-year-old woman.
The victim was raped on 9 June 2020 and the accused had threatened her, informed the victim’s family to INSEC’s representatives.
The complaint was filed on 22 June 2020 at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Satdobato. The accused was arrested 22 Jun from his rented residence and the Lalitpur District Court has allocated seven days for investigation of the case, informed DSP Mitra Bahadur Sharma.
A health checkup of the victim was conducted on 22 June at Patan Hospital.
