Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) Gandaki Province Office helped a 13-year-old girl who had recently given birth by providing her Rs 10 thousand for rehabilitation.
The girl was pregnant after she was raped on 27 October 2019 and had given birth on 9 June 2020 in Bharatpur.
Since she was raped by her family member, neither the infant nor her were allowed to go back to their home. The victim had been staying in a rented room at Besisahar Municipality-8, informed the victim’s mother.
The victim’s mother had asked for help with INSEC’s representative Dal Bahadur Majakoti for the settlement and nutritious food for the victim. After receiving help, the victim’s mother thanked INSEC.
After INSEC’s help, the victim was also helped by FNCCI Lamjung’s chairperson Rajesh Thapa. He said after seeing the victim, he could not resist helping her.
