Police have arrested Nabin Saud (19) and Chandra Saud (20) of Gauri Ganga Municipality-4 Khurkhuriya on 16 June 2020 in accusation of raping a 12-year-old girl.
The victim had gone to file the complaint on 30 May 2020 at the temporary police station of Rajpuri but they denied filing the complaint. The victim’s grandmother filed the complaint at the Municipality’s Legal Commission on 17 June after which the victim’s side was taken to the District Police Office by the Legal Commission’s Coordinator, informed Anchala Chaudhary, the Legal Commission’s Coordinator through a telephone conversation on 18 June.
The complaint was then filed at the District Police Office and the accused was arrested after that for further investigation, informed DSP Pratik Bista to INSEC’s representative. The victim was also raped by Chandra Saud as well and she is at the safe house of WOREC Nepal, Dhangadi, informed the victim to INSEC’s representative.
A health checkup of the victim was conducted on 18 June at the Seti Provincial Hospital of Dhangadi.
