A complaint has been filed against a 40-year-old father on 14 June 2020 at the District Police Office, in accusation of raping his 16- year-old daughter.
The victim was raped on 11 June and the complaint was filed by her mother. The accused has absconded after the complaint was filed and the police has started searching for him, informed SI Mohan Bahadur Singh in telephone communication with INSEC’s representative.
The accused had threatened both the mother and daughter therefore it took her some time to come forward and complaint against her husband, said the victim’s mother to INSEC’s representative.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 14 June at the Seti Provincial Hospital.
