Himal Thami, 27, of Kalinchowk Rural Municipality-6 was arrested on the charge of killing his wife Sunita Thami on February 20, 2021.
Accused Thami stabbed his wife on the head and other parts of her body while she was sleeping at home at around 2 pm on February 19 and fled after her death. Inspector Anjan Koirala of the District Police Office said that he was arrested from Sisagola.
The postmortem of the body of the deceased was conducted on February 21 at Charikot Primary Health.
Koirala informed that the relatives of the victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on February 21.
