Madan Chand, 27, of Kapurkot Rural Municipality-7 in Salyan district has been arrested by the police from Kathmandu on January 17.
Chand was arrested by the Special Bureau of Police, said DSP Pramish Bista of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police.
According to Bista, Chand was arrested by the police from Red Chilli Cafe at Gongabu Chowk on the charge of being involved in banned activities. Chand has undergone a medical examination at Bir Hospital on January 19.
