INSEC Parbat has assisted Bishnukumari Chhetri, 38, of Jaljala Rural Municipality-8, Nagliwang in the judicial process.
The victim had lodged a complaint against her husband who had been beating and torturing her for a really long time. The complaint was filed at the District Police Office, Parbat’s Women and Children Service Centre on December 20 with the help of INSEC.
Previously, the victim had lodged a complaint at the local ward office and Milanchowk police station, but no action was taken against the accused.
After that, a complaint was lodged at the Women and Children Service Center of the District Police Office, Parbat under the guidance of INSEC Representative Santosh Thapa.
In the complaint lodged with INSEC, the victim has demanded to create a favorable environment for the family and immediate action against the accused.
