Relatives of the victim have lodged a complaint against Krishna Bahadur Jirel, 40, of Jiri Municipality-8 at the District Police Office on December 8 for raping a 16-year-old girl.
According to Inspector Ruksa Bajracharya, the relatives of the victim lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on December 7 alleging that the accused Jirel called the girl to his house and raped her on July 25.
According to Inspector Bajracharya of the District Police Office, the accused was arrested from his house on December 7 and the victim was examined at the Primary Health Center, Charikot on December 8.
