A 14-year-old boy has been sentenced to six months’ imprisonment by the district court on November 26 for raping a three-and-a-half-year-old girl.
A bench of Judge Chandramani Gyawali declared him guilty on November 9 and sentenced him to six month’s imprisonment.
The victim’s mother had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Kadarbona on August 23, 2019, alleging that the accused had raped the girl.
The girl was examined at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj on August 24, 2019.
The Area Police Office, Kadarbona had arrested the accused on August 23 and registered a complaint of rape on August 24, 2019. The bench of the district court had ordered to send the accused to Child Rehabilitation Home Birgunj on September 5, 2020.
