Police have arrested Kaush BK, 19 of Palata Rural Municipality-3 on charge of marriage a 16 years old girl.
DSP Chakra Bahadur Shahi of District Police Office said in a telephone conversation with INSEC district representative that the victim’s family filed a complaint at Police Station, Pantala Tirpu on October 23 stating accused fled with the girl on October 22 to marry with her.
According to DSP Shahi now the case of child marriage is registered and after investigation case of rape might get registered.
As per the Dr. Bhisma Pokhrel victim’s health checkup was conduted at District hospital, kalikot on October 22.
