The District Court of Surkhet has given a life sentence along with a confiscation of property of Purna Bahadur Thadamagar,32 of Kalyan VDC-7, Khadga Bahadur Gahamagar,32 of Neta VDC-7 and Yam Bahadur Raskotimagar,38 on charge of raping and murdering Manisha Rana,10 of Neta VDC-7.
The accused had committed a gang rape on a girl on November 16, 2015 before murdering her. The victim’s family had lodged complaint at DPO on same day.
A single bench of District Court Judge Kailash Prasad Subedi had give a verdict on the case.
