Police arrested Lalbabu Adhikari, 37, of Dudhouli Municipality–4, Sindhuli, who had been absconding after escaping from Sindhuli Jail on January 14, 2026.
According to the police, Adhikari was arrested near his home in the afternoon of the same day. He had escaped after breaking out of the district jail on September 10, 2025.
Police stated that Adhikari, who had been detained in jail for trial in a drug-related case, had been arrested and handed back to the same jail.
