Sandeep Sharma, the accused in a rape case who had escaped from Sindhuli Jail on 10th September 2025, was arrested by a special police team deployed by the Sindhuli District Police Office from Tinpatan, Sindhuli on 9th December 2025.
Earlier, according to the order of Sindhuli District Court of June 26, 2025, Sharma had been sent to jail for trial in connection with the rape case. While in jail, on 10th September 2025, he had escaped along with other inmates after breaking out of Sindhuli Jail.
DSP Surya Prakash Subedi informed that Sharma was sent to the Sindhuli District Prison on 9th December 2025.
