Police arrested Ritesh Yadav, 23, of Bijayanagar Rural Municipality who had escaped from Kapilvastu Jail during the protest on September 9. Ritesh was in jail for a drug related case and was re-arrested by Kapilvastu Police on 21 November. According to Reshamlal Bhusal, Information Officer of the District Jail , Kapilvastu,125 inmates who escaped from Kapilvastu Jail are still absconding.
