Police arrested Ashish Subba, 29, from Shivsatakshi Municipality-8, Jhapa, on November 23 in Jhapa. Subba who was serving a sentence at Chitwan Jail, Bharatpur had escaped from jail on September 9 during the Gen-Z protest.
DSP Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office stated that Subba was arrested from his residence on November 23. Subba has been held at the Jhilmil Police Station and will be sent to the District Police Office, Chitwan, following the necessary legal procedures, according to DSP Khadka.
