With the objective of supporting the judicial process for a 10-year-old girl victim of violence from a financially weak background, INSEC Lumbini Province Office, Nepalgunj, provided Rs. 10,000 on April 13 through the Human Rights Help Desk.
The victim was provided with the said amount on the basis of the apllication filed by the victim’s family and after being referred by INSEC Argakhanchi’s representative.
The victim’s family lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on March 24, accusing the 27-year-old accused on raping the victim on the same day. The police arrested the accused on March 24. The victim underwent a medical examination on the same day at the Argakhanchi District Hospital, Sandhikharka.
