A 26-year-old woman was targeted in a cybercrime involving character assassination on social media, and the police arrested Khemraj Sapkota, 34, from Sandhikhark Municipality–2, Arghakhanchi, on March 21 from Sandhikhark.
The victim filed a complaint on March 22, stating that the accused had posted material intended to defame her on social media on March 3.
Based on the complaint, action was taken, confirmed DSP Nisant Srivastava of the local police office. The police also stated that further investigation into the case is ongoing.
