Police have arrested two detainees who had escaped from the custody of the Area Police Office, Birtamod during the Gen-Z movement, on 20 November 2025.
The arrested individuals are Ramesh Mukhiya Sunuwar, 33 of Kankai Municipality–2 and Chandra Paudel, 42 of Kankai Municipality–2, who had escaped from the custody of the Area Police Office, Birtamod on 8 and 9 September 2025 during the Gen-Z movement.
DSP Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office said that the two, who had fled while being held in custody for investigation in a narcotics case at the Area Police Office, Birtamod, were arrested by the Area Police Office, Surunga.
