Police re-arrested Anumesh Giri,28, of Birtamod Municipality-6 on November 9, who had escaped from the custody of Birtamod Area Police Office on September 9 during the Gen-Z protest. Giri had been previously arrested on August 2 in a narcotics case and was held at the Birtamod Area Police Office for investigation. DSP Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office stated that Giri was arrested from his home.
