18-year-old Ashok Rimal, a resident of Kachankawal Rural Municipality-6 and living in Farping, South Kali Municipality-3, Kathmandu, surrendered to the police on November 16, 2025.
DSP Khagendra Bahadur Khadka stated that Rimal, who had escaped on September 9 taking advantage of the Gen Z movement while an investigation was ongoing, voluntarily came to the District Police Office on November 16.
Rimal had escaped while being held at Jhillejhille Police Station for investigation in a road accident case.
