Complaint was filed against 20-year-old husband at the District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk on 10 March 2020 accusing him of marital rape on his 19-year-old wife. The victim was raped on 4 March 2020. Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 10 March at the Chautara Hospital, informed DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle. Case was filed after the reference by INSEC’s representative.
