The participants in one program said that the conflict victims did not get justice whatever changes the country faced. The country faced many changes but their pain remains the same.
” It’s been 10 years of CPA and during this period country faced many changes in political scenario but no one was able to relieve our pain. We did not get the justice”. The victims complained.
The conflict victims expressed their feelings while speaking at an interaction program on peace promotion, conflict management and reconciliation at Sandhikharka on April 10. Conflict victim Narayan Neupane of Chatra Dev village council -7 said that ” we were hopeful of getting justice after the signing of peace accord, but we did not get it. The victims never came in priority list for the government”.
Conflict victim Janga Bahadur Pariyar of same village council is not hopeful of getting justice anymore.
Speaking at the program, CDO Dilli Raj Pokhrel stressed that government must provide justice as soon as possible to the victims. There are 340 complaints lodged at TRC and 13 at CIEDP from this district.
