Three injured in a clash between Madhesi Morcha and Police

At least three people were injured in a clash between United Democratic Madhesi Front cadres and police on February 26 in Gaur.

The cadres had obstructed the road in various places by burning tyres after the former prime minister and CPN UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had scheduled the program to address cadres assembly in Gaur.

The clash started after the front cadres had shown black flag as a protest to Madhav Nepal while he was entering the district headquarter.

In a clash Nanda Kishore Patel of Gamhariya Birta VDC and news representative Prabhat Kumar Jha of The Himalayan Time was injured in a baton charge by the police.

Policeman Rambinaya Yadav was injured after the demonstrator hurled stones at him. The injured are undergoing treatment at District Hospital of Gaur.

The demonstrator had set fire on a jeep of UML cadres having Indian number plate.
