Police have arrested Juthe BK, 32, of Mandre in Shuklagand Municipality-10 on May 21 on the charge of raping a 26-year-old woman.
According to DSP Yuvraj Khadka of the District Police Office, Tanahun, the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Belchautara on May 16.
According to DSP Khadka, the accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim. The victim has undergone medical examination at Damauli Hospital on May 16 claiming that she was raped on May 15.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on May 16.
