Police arrested Rajjak Musalman, 21, of Nandanagar-8, Mayadevi Rural Municipality-8, on July 12, on charges of raping an 18-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Kapilbastu, on July 12, accusing Rajjak of raping the victim on July 4.
The victim underwent a medical examination on July 11 at Kapilbastu Hospital, Taulihawa.
