Police arrested Bigendra Sherpa, 36, of Pashupati Municipality-2, Illam District, on June 28, on charges of raping an 18-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Station, Birtamode, accusing Bigendra of raping the victim on June 28.
