Police arrested Gokarna Bhandari, 36, of Haldibari Rural Municipality-5, Dhanusapokhari, on May 19, on charges of killing his wife, Urmila Bhandari, 33.
DSP Chandra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office stated that Gokarna Bhandari, alias Ganesh, has been arrested for investigation on the accusation of attacking his wife with a khukuri during a domestic dispute on May 19.
The body has been kept at the Mechi Provincial Hospital in Bhadrapur for postmortem.
