Police arrested Hina Khatun, 22, of Kapilbastu Municipality-1, on May 13, on charges of raping a 19-year-old girl. The other accused involved in the case, Samir Khan, 25, has absconded.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office on May 12, accusing them of raping the victim on the same day.
The victim underwent a medical examination on May 12 at Kapilbastu Hospital, Taulihawa.
