The District Court of Palpa District Court has ordered a 13-year-old boy, convicted of rape of a 4-year-old girl, to be sent to a juvenile reform home in Bhairahawa Child Reform Home for nine months.
The verdict was delivered on May 12, 2026, by Judge Hari Prasad Sharma Upadhyaya, according to court registrar Keshav Parajuli.
The incident reportedly took place on April 18, 2026, and a complaint was filed at the District Police Office, Palpa District, on April 21, 2026. Police arrested the accused at his home the same day. The victim underwent a medical examination at Palpa Hospital on April 21, 2026.
