Abhiyanshu Kumar Yadav, a 3-year-old boy who had been living at his maternal uncle’s home in Ward No. 4 of Bariyarpatti Rural Municipality, was found dead in a murdered condition on May 11, 2026.
The child had gone missing from home on May 9, 2026, and his body was later discovered with his hands and legs severed, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Bahadur Pal. The post-mortem examination was conducted on May 12 at the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. Police stated that an investigation into the murder is currently underway.
