Police arrested Hari Acharya, 45, of Gaurishankar-4 of Belaka Municipality, on charges of raping a 33-year-old woman.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Station, Rampur Thoskila, on April 28, accusing Acharya of raping the victim on April 26.
The victim has been arrested for further investigation upon complaint.
The victim underwent medical examination on April 28.
