Police arrested Kamal Somare, 22, of Rainadevi Chahara Rural Municipality-6, Chahala, on April 19 on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl on April 18.
According to DSP Homprakash Chaudhary, the victim’s family lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Palpa, on April 19.
The victim underwent a medical examination on April 19 at the Palpa Hospital.
