Police arrested an inmate belonging to Rautahat Jail on April 15 in Prithvichowk of Pokhara Municipality-9.
Ganesh Pandey, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Kaski, stated that Kedar Pariyar, alias Kedar Damai, 30 of Dumdiya Rural Municipality-10, Rautahat, had escaped on September 9 while serving a sentence in a case of incest rape in Rautahat.
The DPO stated that the arrested Pariyar has been handed over to the Prison Office, Kaski, for necessary legal action.
