A complaint was filed by the victim’s family on April 10 at the Area Police Office, Kesargunj, against Luki Bahadur Khatri, 32, and Bir Kumar Baitha, 34, of Ishwarpur Municipality-6, for gang raping a 28-year-old woman.
The victim has claimed that both accused raped her on March 18 after feeding her an intoxicating substance. Following the incident, both the accused have absconded, and the search is ongoing, according to Inspector Nitesh Kumar Singh of the Area Police Office.
The victim underwent a medical examination on April 10 at the provincial hospital in Malangwa.
