Police arrested Bal Bahadur Shrestha, 24, alias Bale of Rautamai Rural Municipality-7, Dhangale, on April 8 on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint on April 7 against Bale, accusing him of raping the victim on March 31.
The accused has been arrested for further investigation.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the district hospital on April 7.
