Sports equipment was distributed to children involved in legal disputes at Jayandu Child Reform Home, Banke, through an initiative by INSEC.
Following a request from the correction home for support in sports materials, INSEC committed to providing the necessary items. Accordingly, INSEC Nepalgunj, in coordination with Gopal Nina Foundation, arranged and collected the sports equipment.

On March 7, during a program, the chief guests, Mahesh Kumar Gurung, Assistant Chief District Officer of Banke, Dr. Triptipal Raman, Deputy Director of the Foundation, and Advocate Bikash Acharya, Executive Committee Member of INSEC, jointly handed over the sports materials.
The distributed items included four footballs, four volleyballs, two cricket sets, one badminton set, eight chess sets, eight Ludo sets, three table tennis sets, five skipping ropes, and one weighing scale, with a total estimated value of around Rs. 80,000.
Speaking at the event, Assistant Chief District Officer Gurung emphasized that the rights of children involved in legal disputes are guaranteed by the Constitution, and that education, health, and sports are essential for their holistic development. He expressed confidence that such support would contribute positively to the intellectual, physical, and mental growth of the children.
Advocate Bikash Acharya, Executive Committee Member of INSEC, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to providing continuous legal support for children involved in legal disputes. He further stated that such collaborative programs would be sustained in the future through partnerships with various organizations.
Purnalal Chuke, Advisor to the Gopal Nina Foundation and senior journalist, highlighted the Foundation’s contributions to the social sector and expressed commitment to continuing such support in the future.
The program was chaired by Kishor Sharma, Chief of Jayandu Child Reform Home, and conducted by Bhola Mahat, Coordinator of the INSEC Lumbini Province Office.
