Police arrested Pravin Rai, 40 of Bagmati Rural Municipality-1, Hattidhunga of Makwanpur on March 26 on charges of raping a 12-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office on March 26, accusing Rai of raping the victim on March 22.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the Hetauda Hospital on March 26.
