The Area Police Office, Mahendranagar, has arrested Uprendra Singh Danuwar, 50 of Bateswar Rural Municipality-5, on March 29 on charges of raping a 10-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint on March 29, accusing Danuwar of raping the victim on the morning of March 26, when no one was present at their home.
The victim underwent a medical examination on March 29 at the provincial hospital in Janakpurdham.
