A complaint was filed by the family at the Laxminiya Police Station on March 17, accusing Bimlesh Yadav, 23, of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The accused raped the victim on March 14. The police are searching for the accused, who is at large.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the provincial hospital in Janakpur on March 17.
