The police have arrested Birbal Tamta, 50, of Raskot Municipality-1, Hipkot, on March 11 on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl. The victim’s family filed a complaint with the police, accusing Tamta of raping the girl on January 12 and impregnating her. The victim underwent a medical examination on March 11 at the district hospital of Kalikot.
