Police arrested Ramnaresh Mahtol, 24, of Godaita Municipality–4, on January 11, 2026, on charges of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Godaita Police Station on December 21, 2025, alleging that the accused sexually abused the girl on December 10. The accused was arrested, and the investigation is ongoing after obtaining a one-week extension from the Sarlahi District Court, according to DSP Saroj Rai of the District Police Office, Malangwa.
The victim underwent a medical examination on December 21 at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa.
