Eight Polling Stations in Myagdi Classified Highly Sensitive

For the upcoming House of Representatives election on March 5, eight polling stations in Myagdi have been classified as highly sensitive and 29 as sensitive.

According to Rabindra Acharya, Coordinator of the District Security Committee and Chief District Officer, there are a total of 120 polling centers at 82 locations within the district. Among them, eight polling stations have been classified as highly sensitive, 29 as sensitive, and the remaining as normal polling stations. Acharya stated that while this classification reflects the current security assessment, it may change depending on security conditions.

According to the Myagdi District Election Office, in the general election of 2022, there were 42,055 male voters, 44,004 female voters, and one other eligible voter, totaling 86,120 eligible voters. After removing those who had relocated, duplicate names, and deceased individuals, as of November 2, 2025, there were 41,174 male voters, 43,345 female voters, and one other, totaling 84,520 eligible voters.
