Seven Injured in Gen-Z Movement Still Under Treatment

Seven individuals injured during the protests carried out by the new generation on September 8 and 9 against the government’s decision to curb corruption, mismanagement, and shut down social media are still undergoing treatment.

Among the injured, Prakash Bahadur Bohora, 29, from Dailek,h is receiving treatment at the National Trauma Center for a gunshot wound to his left leg, Mukesh Awasthi, 22, from Dadeldhur, a for a gunshot wound to his left knee, and Abhishek Shrestha, 22, from Sindhupalchok for gunshot wounds to his left knee and leg since September 8.

Similarly, Santosh Bohora, 26, from Birendranagar-2, Surkhet, has been receiving treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for a gunshot wound to his left knee since September 8. Kamal Ghimire, 24, from Kavre, sustained an injury to his lower leg and has been under high-care treatment following surgery at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital since September 8.

Additionally, Daulat Thapa, 32, from Sindhupalchok, has been treated at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital since October 18 for severe respiratory issues. Meanwhile, Rakesh Kumar Mahto, 25, from Sarlahi, has been receiving central spinal treatment at the Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Centre since October 13, according to Senior Health Administrator Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari of the Ministry of Health and Population.
