During the course of the movement, one detainee, Sushilkumar Thapa, 34, of Gauradaha Municipality-1, who had escaped from the Ilaka Police Office, Damak on September 9, 2025 was arrested by the police on December 16.
Thapa had escaped on September 9 while in custody for investigation in a narcotics case.
