During the movement, on September 9, two inmates who had escaped from Kaski Jail were arrested by the police on November 27, 2025, on charges of theft.
The arrested individuals include Sumit Thapa Magar, 24 originally from Pyuthan District and currently residing in Nadipur, Pokhara Metropolitan City–3, and Sujan Pariyar, 27 originally from Dhading District and also residing in the same area.
The police have informed that the investigation against the accused has been extended in the District Court under charges related to theft and robbery.
The Kaski Police stated that the accused Thapa had previously been serving a sentence in Kaski jail for indecent behaviour, theft, and public offences, while Pariyar had been serving a sentence for indecent behaviour.
