A complaint was filed on December 5 at the District Police Office against Badriraj Giri,81, of Chautara Sangachokgadhi Municipality-11, accusing him of sexually raping a 13-year-old girl on November 5.
The girl underwent a medical examination on December 5 at Chautara Hospital.
Inspector Rupesh Shah of the District Police Office stated that the accused has been absconding since the incident, and the search is ongoing.
